Talk to a person.
One address, read by someone who can do something about it. Say what happened, what you expected instead, and the phone number or email on your account. Screenshots help.
Email support@myrumr.comMost things get an answer within a day. Reports of someone’s behaviour are looked at within 24 hours.
Before you write in
- The code never arrived
- Wait the full minute and tap Resend. If it still does not come, check that the number is the one on the account, and that your phone is not blocking short-code texts. Signed up with an email instead? Tap Use email instead on the sign-in screen and check your spam folder.
- I changed my phone number
- Email us from the address on your account, or tell us the old number and a recent post of yours. We will not move an account without being able to tell it is yours.
- No notifications
- Open Settings inside RUMR. If notifications are switched off for the app, the first row says so and takes you where to turn them back on.
- Someone is being abusive
- Use Report on the post, comment, story, message or profile, and block them. Reports reach a real person and are acted on within 24 hours. If somebody is in danger, contact your local emergency services first — we are not an emergency service.
- A post of mine was taken down
- You will see it marked as removed, and only you can see it. If you think it was a mistake, write in and say which post.
Delete your account
In the app: Settings → Delete account. You type your username to confirm.
You disappear from RUMR straight away. Your posts, reels, stories, comments and messages stop being visible to anybody else the moment you confirm.
You have 30 days to change your mind. Sign in again within 30 days and everything comes back as you left it. After 30 days it is deleted for good — the account, the posts, the photos and videos in storage, and the username, which becomes free for somebody else. That deletion is permanent and we cannot undo it.
Cannot get into the app to do it? Email support@myrumr.com from the address on the account, or from the number if that is how you signed up, and we will do it for you.
Your data
What RUMR collects and why is in the Privacy Policy, and what you agree to by using it is in the Terms of Service.
For anything those two do not answer — a copy of your data, a correction, a question about how something is stored — email privacy@myrumr.com.
